    1. 38. LiBH4 is specially used for ester so A is chemoselective
      Ag2CO3/ Celite will oxidise only allylic and /or benzylic alcohol so B is also chemoselective
      C and D are catalytic reduction and iodolectonization so not chemoselective.

    2. 78. Radical reacts faster with alkene in conjugation. Weather EDG or EWG with alkene, does not matter. Alkene becomes more reactive with both.

      However, in first reaction, radical is electron deficient so electron rich alkene reacts faster with it, ka>kb.

      In other reaction, kd in which OAc group is there, electron density is shared with alkene via cross conjugation. in kc it is simple conjugation so more effective. Hence, kc>kd
