CSIR NET exam that was originally scheduled to be conducted on June 26 and 27 has been postponed. After the controversial NEET 2024 scam and paper leak incident, CSIR NET exam was also cancelled. However, CSIR confirmed that the postponement of NET exam was a result of logistic issues.
The exam conducting body, the National Testing Agency (NTA), has not yet announced the rescheduled dates for the exam, but it is expected to be held sometime between now and July 26 and 27. However, these dates are not officially confirmed by NTA or CSIR, but are estimated by several educationists.
If CSIR fails to conduct the exam by July 26 and 27, it will be merged with the December 2024 exam. As CSIR has cancelled and merged, shifted the dates of CSIR NET exams multiple times. This not so rigid behavior of CSIR has inconvenienced aspirants multiple times. It seems CSIR is going to continue these mistakes in this term as well. This will cause inconvenience to the candidates who were preparing for the exam in June and July.
